We are committed to sharing the love of Jesus with others. This is the mission Jesus has given us in the Bible. Tell other people about Jesus and to look after other people - especially the less fortunate.
Africa
Dickson Baptist is working closely with churches in Uganda to reach out to people and to help provide sustainable solutions for the orphans and widows in these areas. Our people have made three recent visits to Uganda for this purpose. You can read more about the trip here.

India
We have a special link to Calcutta India and have contributed to a Sewing project and building a school. The contributions allow the women and the children to gain valuable skills and resources.

Local: Salvation Army
We seek to provide for people in need in our community. The church supports the very capable work of the Salvation Army. We also provide meals for people with urgent needs.
There are many other important things that we are doing. We support a number of people sent to various parts of the world:
- Jane Arnott - HIV+ orphans in Thailand (Agape Children's Home)
- Richard Wilson - University ministry in Italy
- Chris & Jenny Cooper - Christian Radio East Asia
- Andrew & Tanija Carson are translating the bible for people in Cambodia
- Lindsay and Jane Robertson serve in a seminary in Hong Kong.
